Memoirs with a quirky aspect are particularly saleable. She does have a new recruit, though, who deals with childrens fiction. I've abandoned my memoir for the time being and am concentrating on my YA novel and trying to find an agent for it. Once I've done that (oh, I say that so blithely!), I will go back to my memoir and novel. Hope springs eternal.

Off to find a double espresso and a piece of plain cheese cake. And then I'd hate myself for a week!

Carole ~ Not yet but am going to Glasgow on Saturday for a mooch around the shops: a change is as good as a rest they say!

Kanani ~ I totally agree. I also really like Elizabeth Bishop's one which I think is called The Art of Losing isn't Hard to Master, or something.

Pat ~ Most welcome.Eryl Shieldshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01818102006775827503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8463471462522424732.post-25198987292103569252008-02-28T15:55:00.000+00:002008-02-28T15:55:00.000+00:00Poetry Smhoetry.
