Break

No poem from me today because I am going out. Not just out of the house but out of this town and out of my own head into this:

with my über friend. It will make a nice change.

Have a great time and do review, as I've heard so many different opinions.

I thought it looked wonderful, but as a film it was quite disappointing. At no point did I ever feel Alice was under any real threat. No tension and everything felt too contrived.

But maybe that was just me.

Alesa ~ I had a ball!

Savannah ~ I'm writing it as we speak, XXX

Pat ~ Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman, and Stephen Fry were all in it: I didn't really notice the action!

Kass ~ fresh ideas would be a bonus, it's just so nice to get out of the country and into the city and see real humans.

Titus ~ review coming up, though I'm not sure I notice the things most people are interested in, I'm more about the look and sounds.

Kim ~ it was the contrivedness I liked! Did you think Helena Bonham Carter was channeling Miranda Richardson's Queenie?

I'm longing to see it and nearly forked out $69.00 to buy the DVD but resisted the impulse. I shall wait till the price comes down.

Enjoy Alice.

Elizabeth ~ $69.00 sounds a lot for a DVD but I don't know how Australian dollars translate into pounds.

I enjoyed it very much, thank you.
