Yesterday we went to visit Kelburn Castle. The grounds are amazing, in fact we think they are the best of any castle or country house we have ever visited. Here are some snaps.

Eryl, what a beautiful place! How far is it from your home?

Debra ~ it's about sixty or seventy miles, takes about two hours to get there. Did you see that if you click on the big photo (of just me) it takes you to flikr where I have more photos of the place. It really is gorgeous isn't it.

The photos on flickr are amazing. I love the graphics on the castle! You don't realize how big everything is until you see a person next to things--like trees...

Debra ~ It does always help to have a person for perspective in photos I feel. The graphics are great aren't they? They were done by three (or was it four?) Brazilian graffiti artists last year. They'll be removed next year - sadly - as the render they were painted is causing damage. I should have posted a link to the Castle's website so you could all read the story for yourselves: didn't think of that.

You see, I knew that if you were interested you would have the wherewithal to find out more. Did you see the quick-time video of the artists, I love that?
